After years of wondering how to make dreams come true, how to bring the multiple post-its ideas into the big screen, we decided to take a small leap and embark into our next adventure: starting a production company. At the moment, we are still in development, trying the grounds, and planting the seeds, as a newly formed independent film company based in Kópavogur, Iceland. Our goal is to produce quality films, focused on storytelling that is derived from personal experiences, to the construction of possible futures, with the aim of bringing a fresh and new perspective of what an audiovisual story could be like. We hope to provide new narratives that explore the realities of our times. Cold Cactus represents what we think about our future projects: a growing cactus thriving in the most hostile and unlikely environment for it to prosper.

Cold Cactus productions are more than just entertainment, we hope to create films and original audiovisual content for today's audiences, that is focused on narrative construction and exciting storytelling, creating new ways of building stories.

We hope that, in a not too distant future, Cold Cactus will position itself as an independent film production house, which gives home to emerging talent (in front of and behind the camera), with original productions that are a window to other realities, inside and outside of fiction.
